NETC Research Processes

  • Start NETC Research Solicitation Process
    • 15 month process
    • Traditionally, starts in November
    • Can be started with one coordinator and transferred, if needed
    • Consider “Implement recommendations on Effective Establishment of Native Plants on Roadsides” for full research solicitation process
  • Quick Response Projects
    • “Pre-TAC” for AV/CV Vehicles?
    • Discuss “Pre-TAC” recommendations at next meeting

New England Materials and Research Engineers Meeting

  • Discussion of regionalization through National Transportation Product Evaluation Program
    • Several areas for potential regional research and regional audit programs
      1. Concrete blocks, pavement marking paint, binder QC plans
    • Will work with NEMREM to schedule when more people are available next year

  • Updating to reflect discussions at retreat
