NETC 15-4: Webinar on Optimizing QA Processes for Asphalt Pavement Construction in the Northeast

May 7, 2020 – 2:00-2:45 p.m. ET

PROJECT NUMBER:  15-4

PROJECT TITLE: Optimizing Quality Assurance (QA) Processes for Asphalt Pavement Construction in the Northeast

PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR(S) & UNIVERSITY(S): Jo Sias, UNH

The New England Transportation Consortium (NETC) is hosting a webinar on Thursday, May 7 from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. ET to share findings from the NETC project Optimizing Quality Assurance (QA) Processes for Asphalt Pavement Construction in the Northeast.

This project developed a roadmap for establishing uniform asphalt pavement QA processes across New England, which would potentially provide significant cost savings for agencies.

Webinar attendees will learn about current similarities and differences in the states’ QA processes; next steps for resolving those differences; and considerations involved in implementing a shared specification and measuring benefits. Principal investigator Jo Sias of the University of New Hampshire will discuss the project’s findings, and the webinar will conclude with a short Q&A.

Webinar presenters:
  • Jo Sias, University of New Hampshire (researcher)

To attend the webinar, please complete the registration form. A GoToMeeting link and conference line information will be sent to registered attendees a week prior to the webinar.

If you have questions about the webinar, please contact NETC at netc@ctcandassociates.com.

Thank you very much for your interest. A recording of the webinar will be posted on the project page after the webinar.
