NETC 15-3: Webinar on Moisture Susceptibility Testing for HMA Pavements in New England

March 3, 2020 – 2:00-2:30pm ET

PROJECT NUMBER:  15-3

PROJECT TITLE: Moisture Susceptibility Testing for Hot Mix Asphalt Pavements in New England

PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR(S) & UNIVERSITY(S): Eshan Dave, University of New Hampshire

The New England Transportation Consortium (NETC) is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, March 3 from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. ET to share findings from the NETC project Moisture Susceptibility Testing for Hot Mix Asphalt Pavements in New England. This project evaluated several moisture susceptibility test methods to determine the most reliable and accurate replacement for current test methods in New England.

Webinar attendees will learn about the mixture test methods that had the best correlation with field performance, including the researchers’ primary recommendation — the Hamburg wheel tracking test — and a promising low-cost nondestructive screening tool. Principal investigator Eshan Dave of the University of New Hampshire will discuss the project’s findings, and the webinar will conclude with a short Q&A.

Webinar presenters:
  • Eshan Dave, University of New Hampshire (researcher)

To attend the webinar, please complete the registration form. A GoToMeeting link and conference line information will be sent to registered attendees a week prior to the webinar.

If you have questions about the webinar, please contact NETC at netc@ctcandassociates.com.

Thank you very much for your interest. A recording of the webinar will be posted on the project page after the webinar.
